UPDATE: I am deactivating and deleting the book trailer that was posted below because I believe I have mastered the transitions using iMovie. Stay tuned. There will be another version available soon.
I spent about seven or eight hours yesterday putting together a book trailer. Unfortunately, I found that many of the transitions and effects didn’t carry over from PowerPoint/Keynote into the .MOV file. The large size QuickTime file kept the transitions, but reducing them to make them usable on the Internet in places like YouTube and Google Video removed them.
I know there must be a way because I have seen plenty of other book trailers with effects and transitions. I just haven’t learned how to do it on this, my first attempt. Can any of you help me? Regardless, the book trailer is below. What do you think? Does it make you want to read the book?
The new trailer should be available soon. I will post the link in a new post when it is up and running.
