Anybody who has read my blog for very long knows that one of my favorite parts of writing a novel is the brainstorming. I love playing "what if" when nothing is off limits, when every idea has possibilities, when I can be the "angel's advocate" instead of the "devil's advocate." Why will it work instead of why won't it work. So when I saw this "focus group" discussion, I just had to share it with you. This is not the kind of brainstorming session you want to experience.
Killing good ideas can ruin your novel as well as your future.
