At church today, we were shown a presentation by Pastor Jeff Manion, talking on the land between which is the desert area where the Israelites were between their lives in Egypt and their promised lives in Canaan. It was a sermon about finding God in difficult transitions. It was absolutely fabulous. The speaker (and author of the book by the same name, The Land Between) was funny and engaging and moving and inspiring and just plain wonderful.
I knew five minutes into the presentation/sermon that I had to get and read this book. The instant I was in the door (after a terrific lunch with good friends), I went to my computer to order it for my Kindle. And guess what I found. The book is currently free on Amazon.
Trust me. Do not miss getting this book. If it is only 25% as good as the author was in person, it will be worth reading. Grab the free Kindle version for your Kindle or to read on your computer with Kindle software or buy the physical book. It’s a book very pertinent to the times we are living in.
