Update on PTM: Karola and Jakob are married, and my writing is going through one of those “what do I write next” phases. This is when I wish I was more of a left-brain, plot-driven writer instead of a right-brain, seat-of-the-pants, character-driven writer. I have learned in 40 books that I have to create the way I create, but when I’m struggling, any other way seems as if it would be easier than the way I do it. I know enough to know that isn’t true. Doesn’t help!
At least I can say I’ve written three pages already this morning and the day is early. Good thing because I have an interview for a magazine article via telephone in a couple of hours, and then a couple of errands to run this afternoon. [Note: I am now approximately 13% done with the first draft.]
