Thirty days left to D-Day (Deadline-Day) but who’s counting?
I took Sunday off to relax. Last week was a good week, writing-wise, but time is short for what is left to do. Now it is Monday morning, and I once again find myself with a calendar marked with too many appointments for this week and next. Ugh! If I could just be a hermit and never leave my house, think how much I could accomplish.
I did a quick study this morning of words used to describe God. Here are a few of them: He is … my rock, the LORD, my refuge, my strength, my help in times of trouble, my King, on my side, a God who saves, awesome, great, good, my light, my protector, holy, sovereign, just, near to me, my father, my shield, glorious, mine forever, robed in majesty, worthy of praise, to be revered above all, exalted, merciful, gracious, faithful, my fortress, my tower of safety, my deliverer, maker of all things, perfect, pure, my shepherd, powerful, near to the brokenhearted, a foundation of true wisdom, wonderful, kind, compassionate, the Word, the Comforter.
May I always be conscious of who He is and what He wants to be in my life.
