What was your favorite book as a child?
I really enjoyed The Secret Garden and A Little Princess. Even at a young age, I loved historical fiction!
What book did you read that first made you want to be an author?
The Little House on the Prairie books. I loved reading them and imagined myself as Laura, writing down these stories.
What was the last book you read, just for fun?
Picture Perfect by Janice Thompson. It’s a fun, contemporary book that was a nice light read. After all those WWII research books I comb through, I need a bit of humor.
What upcoming release are you most looking forward to?
I’m excited for Kristy Cambron’s debut novel The Butterfly and the Violin. It’s set during WWII and sounds like a great read. And Sarah Sundin has a new novel releasing this summer, In Perfect Time. It’s book 3 in her Wings of the Nightingale series and I’ve enjoyed the other two so much.
