What was your favorite book as a child?
The Pink Motel by Carol Ryrie Brinks
What book did you read that first made you want to be an author?
I’m not sure there was one as I read everything from mystery to biography to Gothic romance. The unifying theme about those was that everyone has a story, and I knew from an early age being able to draw people into a story with unique settings and situations was powerful. Whether it was Nancy Drew and following her clues in solving the mystery or running along the cliffs of Cornwall in the mist, the escape into books was my favorite pastime and I longed to write my own someday.
What was the last book you read, just for fun?
When Mockingbirds Sing by Billy Coffey
What upcoming release are you most looking forward to?
Charles Martin’s A Life Intercepted.
