I finally got to go see The Blind Side yesterday. I've been wanting to see it ever since I first heard about it a number of months ago. I'd planned to go the day it released. Alas, my deadline prevented me from it. But I always go see a movie on Christmas Day, and so that was my chance.
I loved it! I think Sandra Bullock was absolutely tremendous and she should get an Oscar nod for her portrayal of Leigh Anne Tuohy (though she probably won't since that would mean Hollywood would recognize a positive film about professing Christians). And the young man who played Michael is quite the find. I had to fight tears more than once during the movie, the first time when Michael says he's never had a bed of his own before. More Kleenex! More Kleenex!
If you haven't had a chance to see The Blind Side, make time. You'll be glad you did.
