It's been quite awhile since I've seen a movie I felt strongly enough about to recommend to readers of Write Thinking. Well, I've got one for you now. It was my New Year's Eve viewing and worth every minute of the two hours.
If you subscribe to HBO, you may have already seen Temple Grandin. I don't subscribe to any premium channels, so I'm lagging behind. I only chanced to see something about this cable movie in one of the "year in review" articles in either People or Entertainment Weekly. I am so glad that I rented it. With autism (in its many spectrums) affecting so many young people and their families today, I think everyone should watch this movie.
And beyond learning a little more about autism, you will be amazed by the superb acting by Claire Danes. I laughed and I cried and I quietly cheered for Temple Grandin.
