My word for 2013 is “quenched” as in satisfied. My heart for this year is to find my satisfaction in Jesus alone. I began the year by reading a fabulous book called The Well: Why Are So Many Still Thirsty? by Mark Hall. I highly recommend it.
This morning, I was reading in the Psalms and paused when I came to Psalm 107:9, which reads:

Have you had an audience with the King today? That is surely where your thirst will be quenched, where your soul we be completely satisfied.
