I had the most wonderful weekend, spent in the company of my sisters in Christ. How blessed I am to be part of such a wonderful family!
On Saturday, our church women had our Spring Luncheon. In addition to lots of chatter and laughter, we had a program on potting flowers. I was inspired enough to go to the store where I bought a pot and a bag of potting soil, then I planted a variety of flowers (snap dragons and marigolds and pansies). How cheerful I feel when I look at it now.
On Sunday evening, I was the guest speaker for another church's annual women's meeting. About 140 women were there, and I was as blessed by their remarks at the close of the evening as any blessing my talk may have been to them.
I am, indeed, rich in all the ways that count, for I am counted among God's children.
