Have I mentioned that I’m writing my first contemporary since 2008’s The Perfect Life? For six years, I’ve concentrated on historical romances. Which I love. Don’t think I don’t. But it has been great fun revisiting my contemporary voice. I am madly writing toward the finish line at present. I can see it in the distance. I’m not ready yet to share the title or much about the story. I like to leave that until a book is further along in the publication process.
But I will tell you the book has dual story lines. One is the story of a woman in present day. The other tells the story of a woman who was born in 1907. Secrets are revealed. Truths are discovered. And God is busy keeping His promises in the lives of both women.
The settings for the stories are Boise and the mountains north of Boise. You already know how much I love sharing beautiful Idaho with my readers.
My publisher is at work on a fabulous cover. Nothing I can share yet, but oh my goodness, I’m going to love it when I can show it to you.
And now, back to the story.
