Today is Easter, and for most followers of Jesus, we’ll be celebrating the resurrection of our Lord while sheltering in place. We are obeying our governing authorities as instructed in the Bible.
But that doesn’t lessen the joy this day represents or change our desire to praise and worship Him. It isn’t the same as gathering in our churches, standing shoulder to shoulder, but He is worthy of praise wherever we are.
On this morning, approximately 2000 years ago, women went to the tomb, heartbroken because of what had happened on Friday, but they found it empty. “Why do you seek the living One among the dead?” an angel asked them. “He is not here, but He has risen.”
He is risen!!
The novel coronavirus can’t take that away from us. He is risen!! He lives!! So even if you are celebrating alone in your home today, rejoice. You aren’t really alone. He lives, and He lives for you.
Hallelujah!

Thank you for your wonderful posts. Happy Easter to you. I enjoy your emails.
I just finished reading “Whispers From The Past” another one of your great novels. Since I live in Boise it is always fun to read your stories set in southwest Idaho.
I love how you instill faith during trials in your characters.
Thanks so much, Merla. I’m delighted that you enjoyed Whispers From Yesterday. I love writing stories set in Idaho.
