One of the great blessings that has come out of my career as a novelist has been meeting so many people from all over the nation — and the world — who I am now privileged to call not just friends but brothers and sisters. Two of these special friends are Angela Hunt and Randy Alcorn. I admire them for their intelligence and deep thinking, for their integrity, for their ability to put into words things and ideas I can only feel in my gut or see in my head, for their rock-solid faith, for their forgiving and generous spirits, for the love they show everyone they meet.
