Okay, yes, I despair sometimes, as stated in my previous post. But I also believe there is a whole lot of good in Americans. There are many who are generous and giving and loving, who help the less fortunate, who are dedicated to service to our nation. As the WWII poster says: We can do it! We the people can change the course of this country. We the people can turn our backs on attitudes and actions and become all that we can be (sounds like a recruiting advertisement). We the people can become a united country.
