On Sunday, I read a review by Angela Hunt of the documentary Paper Clips. I went straight to Netflix and added it to the top of my queue. It arrived in today’s mail, so while I ate my dinner, I popped it into the DVD player.
Well, what can I say but to echo Angie? You need to watch this film. You need to see what the kids in a tiny Tennessee community accomplished. You must think about what hatred and prejudice and intolerance do in this world.
I cried, and I suspect you will too.
A few weeks ago, I watched the movie Conspiracy. It tells the story of the Wannsee Conference where the Nazi Final Solution phase of the Holocaust was devised. Chilling. But an appropriate precursor to Paper Clips where young people try to grasp how many 6 million really is.
