First up, later this month, Ribbon of Years (all links in this post will take you to my web site pages where you can read the blurbs and excerpts) and Catching Katie will both release. These are two of my most popular novels. Ribbon of Years was a 2002 RITA Award finalist and was named a Top Ten Favorite Book of 2001 by Christianbook.com. Catching Katie was named a Best Book of 2004 by the Library Journal. Both of these books hold special places in my heart because of the heroines in the stories (Miriam was inspired by my beloved mother and Katie is a suffragette with a knack for causing mayhem), and I'm so delighted that these stories will have an opportunity to reach even more readers very soon.
In March, my first three books for the Christian market will be available. The Forgiving Hour is another one of my books frequently named a reader favorite. This story is what God used to draw me out of the general romance mass market and into the Christian market, so naturally I've hated that it was no longer available except in used book form. Whispers From Yesterday was awarded the 2000 Christy Award for Excellence in Christian fiction. And The Shepherd's Voice won the 2001 RITA Award. Obviously, I'm proud of these two books as well.
One of the things I've learned recently is how important it is to design covers that look great in thumbnail size. Some covers that look great in trade size on a bookshelf don't look nearly as good on the computer while browsing Amazon or B&N or Christianbook.
As for the new audio books of this post's title, my popular Coming to America Series is currently being readied for audio release. I'm not sure exactly when the audio editions will be available, but stay tuned. As soon as I know, you'll know. The titles of these books are Dear Lady, Patterns of Love (winner of the RITA Award in 1999), In His Arms (RITA Award finalist in 1999), and Promised to Me.
