Observing Lent: Deepen Your Understanding of God's Love

I'd like to share a great opportunity to help you observe Lent, the 40 days (not counting Sundays) that lead up to Easter and the celebration of the Lord's resurrection.

66LoveLettersHeader Sign up to receive forty Lenten
passages for reflection beginning on Wednesday, February 17. Although
there are 46 days between the first day of Lent and Easter, Sundays are
considered “feast days” or “resurrection” days. They are in Lent, but
not part of it, so you won’t receive emailed devotions on Sundays during
Lent.

The passages you’ll read are
from Dr. Larry Crabb’s new book, 66 Love Letters: A Conversation
with God that Invites You into His Story
. In it, the author creates
a conversation between one person and God. The man expresses his own
fears and doubts, and articulates – for all of us – the often aching
question of “God, what do you mean by all of this?” A renowned Bible
scholar, psychologist, and author, Dr. Crabb is in a unique position to
delve into God’s word and reveal the larger story told from the first
letter to the last, a story of God’s love and plan for us.
