New Year, New Inspiration
I hope you all had a merry Christmas and that your new year started well. I’m looking forward to my year of gratitude (I shared about that in my last post).
I spent the week before Christmas working on the edits of To Find Where She Belongs, Book #5 in The British Are Coming series (release #97 for me), and then I spent the few days right after Christmas working through the final go-around after my editor checked my changes.

By Monday of this week, the script was in the hands of my audiobook producer and a host of other tasks related to the publication of a book had been accomplished. Whew! Great way to end the year.
Unless I’m taken by surprise, I believe the book I’m writing now, To Fall in Love at Christmas, will be the final story in The British Are Coming series.

Which means I’m expecting to begin either a new series or to write a single title release next. I just don’t know what it will be. I have several proposals tucked away in an electronic file, and my next project could be one of them. Or not! I like to write whatever takes my fancy. I always figure, if a story idea captures my attention, it has a better chance of catching the attention of readers too.
And so, I’m allowing my imagination to play while I ask the Lord for inspiration. Dreams, dreams, and more dreams That’s a great way to begin a new year IMHO.
What are your dreams for 2026?
