It's that time again. Round 7 in my Name This Author blog series.
This author is a native Californian. Today, she and her husband and their children live in a log house in the Golden State. She loves sipping Starbucks white mochas and reading the New Testament in Greek. She once helped to build a church out of baked mud bricks in a village in Madagascar, and her favorite thing to do as a kid was build forts in the woods.

The Rules: You must put your guess in a comment on the Write Thinking blog. Commenting on Facebook doesn't count. Participants must have a USA mailing address to be eligible to win a book. (Sorry. Cost of postage outside the US is too prohibilitive.) The first person to name the author correctly wins a Robin Lee Hatcher novel. If no one has guessed correctly by Friday morning, there will be no winner for this round. If there is a winner, he or she will be announced in an update at the bottom of this post. If the winner fails to contact me at my Write Thinking email address (see left sidebar) with his/her mailing address, no prize will be awarded to a runner-up. No one who has won a book within one month is eligible to win.
Be sure to check back to this post to see the answer and to see if you have won.
UPDATE: We have a winner! Diana Flowers came up with the right answer. Diana, please email me at the email address listed in the left sidebar with your mailing address so I can get a book out to you.
This week's author is Marlo Schalesky, the award-winning author of eight books, including her latest novel Shades of Morning, which combines a love story with a surprise ending twist. She has also had nearly 700 articles published in various magazines, had her work included in compilations such as Dr. Dobson’s Night Light Devotional for Couples, and is a regular columnist for Power for Living.
Marlo hold a Masters degree in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary (yes, she reads the New Testament in Greek!) and recently completed her third book in her “Love Stories with a Twist!” for Waterbrook-Multnomah Publishers, a division of Random House. She lives in Salinas, California with her husband, son, and four young daughters.
Be sure to check out Marlo's web site to learn more about her and her books. And come back next Wednesday for the next round of Name This Author.
