It's that time again. Round Five in my Name This Author blog series.
The Rules: You must put your guess in a comment on the Write Thinking blog. (Commenting on Facebook doesn't count.) The first person to name the author correctly wins a Robin Lee Hatcher novel. If no one has guessed correctly by Friday morning, there will be no winner for this round. If there is a winner, he or she will be announced in an update at the bottom of this post. If the winner fails to contact me at my Write Thinking email address (see left sidebar) with his/her mailing address, no prize will be awarded to a runner-up. No one who has won a book within one month is eligible to win.
Be sure to check back to this post to see the answer and to see if you have won.
I finally got a guy to send me a photo. Yea!
This author once forgot to set the parking brake on a manual transmission car when picking up a high school date. The car travelled down a hill and crashed into an old farm out-building … not the start he wanted to a promising dating relationship! He's the author of both fiction and non-fiction. I know him to be a devoted husband, proud father, and a dedicated Christian who understands love is a verb. Can you name this author?
UPDATE (11/12/10): We have a winner! Congratulations to Jenny @ MyBucklingBookshelf. (Jenny, please contact me at robinlee.writethinking at gmail dot com with your address so I can drop a book in the mail for you.)
This week's author is HARRY KRAUS. Be sure to visit his web site to learn more about Harry and his latest novel, The Six-Liter Club. And don't miss his wonderful non-fiction. They're amazing. When I mentioned "love is a verb" in the clue it's because Harry is a surgeon-missionary, and as this post went up, he'd just arrived in Africa again. Prayers for his safety in turbulent places would be greatly appreciated by Harry and his family.
Check back next Wednesday for another round of Name This Author. Thanks so much for playing! I love reading your guesses. Tell your friends so they can guess too!
