The Boise area forecast today calls for rain, but right now the precipitation is falling as snow. What is it about the first snowfall of the year that makes me feel festive inside? I don’t care to drive in the stuff and I’m not a skier, but I do like to watch it falling, to see the frosting on the roofs of my neighbors’ homes, to see my yard look so clean and white. This is a photo out my dining room window with the reflection of some of my Christmas lights in the glass (click for larger image).
I’m in the final week of writing FTBT (Nov. 2009). It’s summer in my book. No snow for my characters to deal with. In fact, Cleo and Sherwood are out in the buggy. Now it’s time for me to discover what happens on this little outing of theirs. I’m afraid I have nothing profound to say to my blog readers as anything profound left in my head is needed for my story.
Here’s hoping you have a wonderful Monday.
(PS If you’re a regular reader of the Writes of Passage blog, you’ll read the same words in my post there.)
