Okay, I know I should wait to share this. After all, the first book in the Sisters of Bethlehem Springs series, A VOTE OF CONFIDENCE, hasn’t yet been released (a bit more than two months to go). But I now have the cover for the second book, and it is so wonderful that I’m about to burst with excitement. So without further adieu, here is the cover for FIT TO BE TIED (November 2009).
And here are the two books in the Sisters series next to each other. Aren’t they luscious together? (Click for larger version)
I hope these covers make you want to know more about these women (Gwen on the left, Cleo on the right). Huge kudos to the design team at Zondervan who have created covers that are so perfect for the stories that will be within them. And I’ve got to confess, I’m having sooooooo much fun writing about Gwen and Cleo and Daphne and the other characters that people the town of Bethlehem Springs, the Arlington Ranch, and the New Hope Health Spa. I am now into the third book and eager to find out what happens next in this small Idaho town in the early 20th century.
FWIW, when I write a series, each book stands alone. I never leave a reader in the lurch, arriving at the end of the book without arriving at the end of the story. I want the reader to be hungry for the next book but never forced to read it just to find out what they should already know.
So, what do you think? Do you love these covers as much as I do?
