Intentional Thanksgiving: 2/12/2025

This year I am reading through the Bible using the chronological Reading Plan used by the Bible Recap. At the end of each day’s Bible reading, I then read/listen to the daily recap. I like immersive reading with the Bible Recap audiobook with the ebook on my Kindle, but you can find their plan in the Bible App (YouVersion) which provides both the Bible text and the podcast, all for free.

All that to say, today I read Leviticus 22-23 and it made me want to give thanks for the following:

  • Father God, I am so “blemished and blind and scabbed and crushed.” So imperfect. Thank You, Jesus, Perfect Lamb of God, for paying my debt.
  • Thank You, Lord, that grace abounds as I walk out this life (Romans 5:20-21).
  • Thank You, Holy Spirit, that I can trust You to reveal to me what I need to understand in God’s word.

Amen.

  1. I love the Bible Recap!! I am on my 3rd trip through with TLC. But just wondering how you are in Leviticus when my reading was Exodus 39 & 40? I thought she only had one plan and they were all the same. But happy when I hear that others are doing her plan to!

    1. Hi, Bev. Easy answer. Some days I just can’t stop reading so I am about a week ahead of schedule. And even her one year plan is not attached to actual calendar days. So you can start it in any month and on any date.
