Today is the last day of blogging my gratitude journal but it won't be the last day of keeping a gratitude journal. I pray that you will be encouraged to remember daily to express gratitude to God for His many blessings.
I'm thankful for the abundance of Bible versions, concordances, guides, commentaries, studies, devotionals, etc., that are easily available to me — both in print and electronically. Over the years, they have helped me to grow in my faith and to hear the voice of my King whispering in my heart.
- I'm thankful that I love because He first loved me. There is nothing good I can do to make God love me more and there is nothing wrong I can do to make Him love me less. His unconditional love is a miracle.
- And I am thankful for His mercy (not getting what I surely deserve) and grace (getting what I surely do not deserve). I am blessed beyond imagination, made rich by my life in His keeping.
So we praise God for the wonderful kindness he has poured out on us because we belong to his dearly loved Son. He is so rich in kindness that he purchased our freedom through the blood of his Son, and our sins are forgiven. He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding.(Ephesians 1:3-8)
Thanks for going along with me for this month of thanksgiving.
In the grip of His grace,
