Well, I suspected last night that the two most vulnerable contestants would be Phil and Hayley. I felt Hayley’s vocals just weren’t strong enough most weeks. While I like Phil’s voice (except for the crack in it last night), I suspect he doesn’t have a huge voting block. He’s been in the lower three quite a few times. I’d love to see him catch fire in his next performance. I wonder if country might do the trick for him. He doesn’t seem like a country type, but I could be wrong.
Anyway, it was Hayley who went home tonight. She had a good run, and I wish her good fortune as she pursues her dreams.
