Sorry, no blow by blow about Idol tonight. Life has been too crazy to keep up with everything (trying to make progress on the book as well as continuing to work on the "house for sale" must do’s), and Write Thinking has taken the worst hit. Sorry for the silence. At least dropping by to comment on American Idol guarantees a couple of posts a week. I hope things will slow down soon.
Fun note: I received an email from Chris Sligh’s mom in Germany. Turns out she is a fan of my books and happened by my blog just in time to see my farewell comments for Chris. What a small world!
As for tonight’s show, I am a fan of the standards so was looking forward to the performances. I really enjoyed Blake and Chris R. I thought Phil was better than the judges comments. Melinda and Jordin were in absolutely top form. Gina, Sanjaya, and Haley were all okay; not great but nothing awful either. The judges loved Lakisha, but I didn’t like the arrangement at all; I would call it the worst of her performances.
I give the night to Blake, Chris R., Melinda, and Jordin.
