Idol Thoughts: Hollywood Week, night 2

idol-logo.pngI didn’t bother to post after night #1 of Hollywood week. I didn’t feel any investment at that point. No major standouts yet. But after night #2, I just have to say how glad I am that “bikini girl” went home. I don’t think I could have watched her preen and pose even one more episode. Her departure was the best thing to come out of tonight’s episode.

I did hear some great voices tonight and have begun to root for a few kids, but I haven’t learned any names yet to go with the faces. That will have to wait until there are fewer than 95 contestants remaining. Ninety-five? Is that really what they said? I’m pretty sure that’s what I heard.

See you next week.

Now, how about LOST? I’m thinking it’s off to a great start but the time switches back and forth are a wee bit confusing if you aren’t paying close attention. You can’t watch LOST and do email at the same time. If you try, you’ll be lost over LOST. {{grin}}

Totally different subject, I got the almost final version of my cover for my November 2009 release. I am over the moon about it. It is such a perfect companion for the cover of A Vote of Confidence. I can’t share it with you until the last couple of tweaks are done, but I promise, you’re going to love it.
