Well, I didn't do bad with my predictions as for who could make it to the final 12. All of my picks are still in the running. Going home tonight were:
Joe Muñoz, Ashley Rodriguez, Tyler Grady, and Janell Wheeler
I can't argue with the departure of any of them, although I'm sure all could have made some improvements had they had a bit more time. But this is the way American Idol works. By the time selection goes to the viewers, these young folks had better have their act in gear because somebody (or several somebodies) will go home every week from now on.
I'm hoping next week I will be able to get excited about someone. It's so much more exciting to watch when you're rooting for someone to do well.
