This is the sixth season of American Idol for me. (My first was Season 4, Carrie Underwood's year.) But I'm having trouble drumming up interest in watching the audition shows. If they would show an hour full of good singers, including the ones who didn't make it, I might be more interested. But the producers insist on showing countless of the delusional and tone deaf contestants. I just don't give a rip. I want to catch a glimpse of all those young folks who are making it to Hollywood week.
Of course, there is the occasional worthwhile light moment, like General Larry Platt and his Pants on the Ground. If you missed it last week, here you go:
