Wow! There were some great vocals tonight — but none of them belonged to the girls. I thought both Megan and Lil had poor performances. I like Megan’s smoky voice and quirky vibe. I think Lil has an incredible instrument. Neither of them sang songs that brought out the best that they have to give. Allison was better than those two but only marginally so.
Who’s in danger? Who do I think could be in the bottom three? My guesses are: Megan, Michael, and Scott.
I gotta say that Adam was brilliant. He had a young-Kurt-Russell-playing-a-young-Elvis thing going on in that silver suit and that special 1950’s hairdo. And the thing is, the other guys I’m mentioning below had great performances, but oh my gosh, Adam’s performance of Tracks of My Tears just gave me chills up and down my spine.
