My batting average is turning out to be pretty good this year. By the half hour mark, the two finalists announced were two of the kids I voted for last night. Allison and Kris were through. (Surely Megan will be a wild card pick in a couple of weeks.)
At six minutes til the hour, we were down to two guys. Or was it three guys? Nick/Norman and Adam. I wasn’t the least bit worried at this point. No way was Nick/Norman going to beat Adam. And I should say that Nick is a funny, funny guy, and I think he’s got an entertainment career ahead of him if he wants it (and I’m sure he wants it!). I just don’t think American Idol is the venue to get him where he wants to go.
And at four minutes to the hour, my suspicions were confirmed. Adam was the third one through. (Four guys and only two girls thus far; wild cards will probably even things out.)
