Well, bummer. I wrote this really cute and funny post about American Idol to date. I clicked Save, and it went away. Totally away. So you’re going to get something less funny and definitely not profound.
I’ve been watching the show, but I can’t same I’m invested yet. I don’t think I could name any of the contestants except for the young man with the deep base voice. I think his name is Cory. And while I agree there is plenty of talent this year, I’m tired of the hyperbole from Ryan, when he says that this is the most talented group of contestants ever. I might give it some credence if he didn’t say the same thing every year.
Tonight they started whittling the contestants down from 40 to 24. In fact, that was a tease. They only selected 5 of the 24 and will finish the rest tomorrow night, and then will cut four more to get us to our final twenty, ten boys and ten girls.
And that means I will be back to blogging my thoughts each week. Are you ready for that?
