The countdown is on. Make You Feel My Love releases in just 9 days. I’m so excited for it to be available to readers at last. Have you preordered your copy?
Out here in the West, we are broiling. In the Boise area, we’ve had over a week of 100 degrees and above, and the forecast doesn’t promise much of a change. Only a couple of days in the next ten are supposed to fall (barely) below 100. Let’s just say that staying inside and working at my computer with the fan spinning overhead is the best option.
Speaking of working, last week the revision letter for my June 2022 release arrived, so I’m getting my head focused on the changes I need to make to the book. The good news is, the editor didn’t ask for any major alterations. The revising is more organic. Just expanding on the story that is already there. My favorite kind of revisions.

A few days before the revisions arrived, my publisher sent me the first comp of the cover for the same book. While the comp needs some tweaks, I promise you that the cover is beautiful and will only get better. I’ll be so happy to share it with readers when the time comes. At left is a bit of a tease (a very little bit).
On a totally different note, I’ve got four older novels returning to print. One is available now. Three more should be available within a day or two.
The book that’s ready now is Speak to Me of Love. I decided this book’s packaging needed a refresh so this seemed a good time. It was fun to use a Shakespearean actress on the cover instead of a period (late 1800’s) costume. I love it and I hope readers will too. I’ve always been fond of this story.

The other three books returning to print are Another Chance to Love You, Trouble in Paradise, and Bundle of Joy. I’ll add the print book links to the book pages as soon as they’re available.
What’s your favorite format for reading? Print. eBook. Audio. Two of those. All three. I’d love to know.
Have a safe 4th.

I love all 3 formats for reading.
but I use ebooks and print mostly.
I look forward to your books and love them. bonnie
Thanks so much, Bonnie.
I finally gave up on the Kindle. When I want to sit and relax and read it wants to sell me something or flash games at me. Not relaxing. The Nook I have is not functionally reliable. I did like the Nook first edition but they stopped supporting it. Ugh… So, I have happily gone back to paperback. In all fairness, I must say, the Nook and Kindle apps on my iPad are great. However, reading the iPad in bed could be hazardous when I fall asleep!
Mary, I agree about the ads, so I pay to get rid of them when I buy a new Kindle. It is worth the cost to then read from then on without any advertising. My biggest reason for loving the Kindle (or I suppose any other ebook reader) over paper is the ability to increase the font size. My tired eyes need that. I laughed about the danger of the iPad in bed if you fall asleep. I totally understand. My iPad is definitely heavier than my 8 oz. Kindle.
I did not know you could pay to eliminate the ads from the Kindle. How do I do that?
Mary, I have always paid when I purchased a Kindle. But here are instructions:
Here’s how to do it:
1) Sign in to your Amazon account, and go to Manage Your Content and Devices > Devices.
2) Select the Kindle device from which you wish to remove Special Offers. Information about the device will appear below the device’s listing onscreen.
3) Look for a line that says Special Offers / Offers and Ads. If you have Special Offers, it will say “Subscribed.”
4) Click the Edit link next to Subscribed, and follow the instructions to unsubscribe. Amazon will tell you the amount you need to pay, and charge you via your 1-Click Payment setting.
OK. That’s a lot of steps for a non-tech person, but I will give it a shot. Thanks so much. I just want to say there is something “addictive” about the smell and feel of a new paperback book! They will always be my first love.
I prefer print and audiobooks. I love holding a brand new book in my hands. I also like audio so that I can listen to the book while doing diamond art. Is the book coming out a series or a first in one?
Happy 4th Robin,
Stay cool,
Hugs,
Gee
Hi, Gee. The new book, MAKE YOU FEEL MY LOVE, is not part of a series. It is a stand-alone. Hope you enjoy.
I’ve come to enjoy reading eBooks. It’s a lot easier and less bulky to carry. I must say, though, after reading quite a few books online, then reading a real book, I’ve tapped on a word (dictionary), and, of course, no matter how many times you tap on the word in a hard-cover book, nothing pops up.😇 I prefer eBooks. Thank you, Robin, for sharing your book-writing talents with us, your fans. 👏❤️
Donna, I have done the same kind of thing. LOL!!
