Gobsmacked!

Earlier this week, the finalists in ACFW’s Carol Awards were announced. I had three 2025 titles eligible for the contest, so I was wondering if one of them might be named a finalist. It’s been a number of years since I had a book final in this particular contest. Would that change this year?

Imagine my surprise when they announced my name three times. Bible and a .44 (included in From This Moment On) is a finalist in the novella category. Both To Capture a Mountain Man and To Reveal a Reckless Love are finalists in the Short Novel category.

I am honored and delighted because I know how many wonderful books had the potential to final, and I will definitely be reading the other finalist books in those two categories soon.

Speaking of Bible and a .44, I am pleased to announce that this novella has been released as a stand-alone ebook. It is available on the Kindle, Nook, Apple Books, and Kobo. It is also available (or will soon be) to libraries, so if you’re interested in reading it through your local library, please ask your librarian to order a copy.
