Today I'm thankful to God:
… for my mom who turns 96 today. Nobody ever had a more loving and giving mother than I've had. (Photo at right is a picture of her at age 2.)
- … because I grew up in a home where I was surrounded by love and laughter and people who spoke positive words over my life.
- … because my childhood creativity was encouraged and nourished.
With each of you we were like a father with his child, holding your hand, whispering encouragement, showing you step-by-step how to live well before God, who called us into his own kingdom, into this delightful life. (1 Thessalonians 2:11-12)
