No, I haven't forgotten to give thanks. I have, however, not been keeping up my blog posts. First the broken ankle slowed me down, and then my precious mother's death brought things to a complete halt. I don't know that I'll be blogging my thanks daily. Life is still a bit of a challenge. But here's a post for this Wednesday.
Today I'm thankful to God:
-
… for my oldest granddaughter who took me shopping for groceries tonight, her pushing the cart and me rolling up and down the aisles on my scooter.
- … for a good day writing. Didn't quite hit my word goal but the closest I've been this week.
- … for the handicap shower I put in for my mom three years ago which now allows me to bathe without assistance.
I shall wash my hands in innocence,
And I will go about Your altar, O Lord,
That I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving
And declare all Your wonders.
O Lord, I love the habitation of Your house
And the place where Your glory dwells.
(Psalm 26:6-8)
