I am delighted to get to tell my readers about decorative wall quotes from WiseDecor. When I was offered the chance to choose lettering of my own for review, I went with one of my favorite quotes by a writer in a movie: “I’m a writer. I give the truth scope!” (spoken by Chaucer in A Knight’s Tale) to use on my office wall.
Because I was under deadline when I received my lettering, the decals had to sit and wait about six weeks before I was able to apply it. The company recommends applying within 30 days. For this reason (I believe), some of the very narrow strips of the letters were reluctant to let go of the backing, making the application process slow but not terribly hard. I expected a letter to break or stretch out of shape, but that didn’t happen. The product is much more resilient than it looks.
I placed the quote above the closet doors in my office. That meant I had to apply it with the use of a ladder. Because I had three lines of good-sized text, I would have benefited from another pair of hands during the application process, but there was no room for a second ladder so I had to do it all myself. The thing is, I could do it all myself and with great results.
I love this decorative wall lettering so much, I’m already trying to decide on another one for my dining room. The hardest part of the entire process is probably choosing what you want to say. The company has tons of options to choose from or, like me, you can come up with your own wording.
WiseDecor has generously agreed to offer my readers a chance to win a $75.00 (US dollars) gift certificate. The contest is open to anywhere in the world that the USPS ships.
