On Saturday, I had the pleasure of being a featured author at the Pacific Northwest Church Librarians conference. Lauraine Snelling was the keynote speaker. Lauraine is a dear friend of mine, but our paths haven’t crossed in many years. It was so fun to see her.
During the lunch, they asked each of the authors to speak for a few minutes about their books and what releases were coming in the future. When I started listing my upcoming releases, I couldn’t help but think, No wonder I’m tired! It isn’t often I have more than two releases per year and some years I only have one. I don’t know if I’ve ever had four books out in one calendar year like will happen in 2014.
Of course, before 2014 gets here, my book Beloved will release. It hits stores on September 24, 2013. I gave away some Advance Reader Copies to librarians on Saturday for their book club leaders. I’ve said it before. I’ll say it again. I love Diana and Tyson and their love story.
In January 2014, A Promise Kept will arrive on shelves, and beginning July 15, 2013, the ebook versions will be available for the pre-order price of $4.99. That’s a $5.00 savings, so you might want to check it out by following the link to the book’s page where you will find links for the Kindle and the Nook. (If you don’t see the price drop immediately on the 15th, check back.)
In May 2014, look for The Heart’s Pursuit, a stand-alone historical romance. I am eagerly awaiting my first glimpse of the artwork for the cover. I’ll share it as soon as I can.
June 2014 will see the release of Four Weddings & a Kiss, another novella collection from the same authors who wrote A Bride for All Seasons. The heroines of these new novellas aren’t mail-order brides, but they are or will be, perhaps, unexpected brides.
Finally, in November 2014, the first book in a new historical romance trilogy will come out. I know what I want to call each of the books in the series, but my editor hasn’t confirmed whether they’ll use my titles or change them. I’ll let you know when I know.
I’ll be very, very busy with revisions and line edits for two of the above books while writing the last of the above books. That should keep me out of mischief for the rest of the summer and well into autumn.
