Home again from the Christian novelist retreat followed by the Christian Booksellers Association convention. Exhausted. Books piled high. Dirty clothes in another pile.
And feeling lousy with a cold (achy muscles, cough, plugged ears, scratchy throat — the plague!) so this entry will be brief.
One highlight: Obtaining an autographed advance reader copy of Let’s Roll by Lisa Beamer (wife of the hero of flight 93).
Another highlight: The incredible drop on the Jurassic Park ride at Universal Studios. What a rush!
Another highlight: Hearing Franklin Graham give the morning devotion on Monday.
The whole past week has been a wonderful experience. There is nothing like the fellowship of believers in Jesus Christ. Short of being in His presence, it doesn’t get any better.
