What an awesome day!
I spent two praise-filled hours listening to the gospel musical, Concert of the Cross. What a fabulous production. A choir of 70+ voices, most of them from various Boise churches, really rocked the sanctuary. But the “pros” were from Seattle where the author and director of this production, Cora Jackson, is from. They sold out of the CDs at the Saturday night performance, so I had to place an order on the Internet. (No tape player in my car or office.)
I cried during two different songs. I felt like dancing and shouting during most of them. During the drive home, I kept having the urge to shout, “Glory! Glory! Glory!” Can’t wait to get the CD so I can use it in my praise time.
Back in the ’70’s, when I was a new Christian, there was another wonderful musical that really moved my soul, that one called The Witness. I still listen to that CD (burned from the vinyl album I had).
I suppose I’ll have to come down to earth soon, but not yet. Not just yet. So glad that Heaven is my true home and Jesus will be with me there. Praise God!
In the grip of His grace,
