I'm back in BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) this year, and it's a brand new study for them, the Book of Isaiah. I'm loving it. So rich.
In chapter 2 of Isaiah, there are a couple of verses that are sung on one of my favorite Messianic Praise albums (quite old and hard to find). I'm very fond of Scripture songs because I can memorize verses from the Bible and remember them so much better. Are you like that?
Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD,
To the house of the God of Jacob;
That He may teach us concerning His ways
And that we may walk in His paths.”
For the law will go forth from Zion
And the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
And He will judge between the nations,
And will render decisions for many peoples;
And they will hammer their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks.
Nation will not lift up sword against nation,
And never again will they learn war. (Isaiah 2:3-4, NASB95)
I was able to find a YouTube video of the song so I could share it with you. Enjoy!
