I’m taking a few days off from writing as our church has a pastoral candidate here with us this weekend. As part of the search committee and as Women’s Ministry advisor, I’m active in several of the get-togethers. This morning is also the women’s Bible study that I host in my home.
I’m discovering it’s difficult to maintain this on-line diary because so often there doesn’t seem to be anything new to say. Got up, drank my coffee, read my Bible, spent time in worship and prayer, read email, procrastinated, worked on a character study or name list or drew a map of my town, drank more coffee, procrastinated some more, finally started writing and discovered I have no plot! Sigh. [To be repeated tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow.]
But since I decided to keep this diary to give readers a peek into the life of a writer, I guess that’s being honest. Boring but honest.
I am almost on schedule with PTM. Since I won’t write today, I guess I’ll be 6 pages shy this week. If I can stay on schedule all of next week, I should be able to make up 6 pages. I hope so.
