The Beginning of Wisdom

Setting: Israel and Sheba, circa 950 BC

When Queen Bilqis of Sheba hears the whispers of King Solomon’s wisdom and wealth, to say nothing of his God’s might, she knows she must travel to see if the tales are true. In the king’s palace, she discovers that the stories have not been exaggerated. With the help of Eben, a Hebrew scholar assigned to teach her the ways of Yahweh, she will open herself to faith in a God she could never have imagined.

When the queen’s visit to Jerusalem is over, she returns to Sheba with Eben by her side, eager to share her newfound faith with others. However, not everyone wants to hear about this new God. Those closest to her try to undermine her at every turn. Can Queen Bilqis’s faith in the one true God change the nation of Sheba for the better?
