Gasp! A blogging machine? I fear that’s a sure sign of procrastination.
In truth, I was off to a good start today. Wrote my way out of the scene that was troubling me on Saturday. I was happy. Then I got a call from my CPA. Taxes are done. We do owe $$ to the government, but much less than I feared we would owe (and less than I’d budgeted to pay, which is the really good news). I stopped the writing to do some budget work, discovered I had an error in one of the credit card accounts in Quicken and spent well over an hour trying to make that account balance. I found the error (mine), which means we don’t owe what I thought we owed. Yea! More money saved.
So now it’s back to the writing. No blogging machine today. I am a focused writing machine instead.
