Okay, so you may not remember me, I’ve been silent so long. I’m Robin from Write Thinking. Nice to meet you. {{grin}}
I’m on a marathon writing gig this week, but I hope to be more regular in my blog posts. I have an excellent quote to share with you today that I wrote down during yesterday’s sermon. I think it’s so good that it should hold you until I post again tomorrow:
It isn’t the ship in the water that sinks it. It’s the water in the ship.
It isn’t the Christian in the world that sinks him. It’s the world in the Christian.
When the pastor, who was preaching on making wise decisions for our lives, said those words, I scribbled them down as fast as I could. They are so simple and oh-so-true.
Stay afloat, my friends. Be in the world but not of it. Keep the Spirit, not the world, inside you.
In the grip of His grace,
Robin
