First presented in 2000, the Christy Award recognizes novelists and novels of excellence in half a dozen genres of Christian fiction. The Master Storyteller of all time did most of His teaching through fiction. A great story captivates, entertains, educates, inspires, and challenges the reader — The Christy Awards celebrate novels from a Christian worldview that achieve these goals.
Robin was the recipient of the Christy Award in 2000.

At one time, the RITA Award was the highest award of excellence in the genre of romance fiction. The golden statuette, named after RWA’s first president, Rita Clay Estrada, was a symbol for the very best that romance fiction had to offer each year. RITAs were awarded to the romance novels that received the highest scores from panels of romance-author judges. The RITA Award was retired in 2020.
Eleven of Robin’s novels were RITA finalists (for historical romance, inspirational romance, and novella) and she won the award twice.
