Over the past few days, I had a couple of fun deliveries—awards for two of my books. But these were extra special just because they are so unique.
First, I received the "tombstone" from Oklahoma RWA's National Readers Choice Award for Fit To Be Tied. What a fun award. It really does look like a tombstone. I've been a finalist for the NRCA before but not since 1994, and I'd never seen the award itself.
And second, I received the silver gift box from Faith Hope & Love's Inspirational Readers Choice Award for When Love Blooms. The gift box is a new design for the award this year, and it is so pretty. I plan to keep the pins (Booksellers Best Award) and pendent (HOLT Medallion) in it that I've received for previous award winning books.
Here's a couple of quick snapshots I took via my handy MacBook. (Click for larger versions.)
