another week ends

My revised manuscript arrived on my editor’s desk today, thanks to Mr. FedEx driver. The final read through I did, especially of the new portions, made me like this book again. That surprised me. I was pretty sick of it before that. My editor said she wasn’t surprised. She thinks it’s going to be my best yet. (Got to love her!) I hope she’s right.

The church committee I’m serving on has taken not just time but has added some stress. Thankfully, in another 16 days or so, the committee’s work will be complete. I’m hoping the personal side of my life will slow down a bit after that.

Next week I give my testimony at a large Christian women’s conference, so I’ll have to work on my presentation a bit. And this last week I received two more invitations to speak at women’s conferences and retreats. So far, God has told me to go when asked.

On Monday, I return my thoughts once again to PTM, the historical. No wonder I’m loopy. I don’t even know what century I’m in from week to week.
