Yesterday I received word that two of my novellas are finalists in the American Christian Fiction Writers Book of the Year Award.
A Cloud Mountain Christmas (Robin Lee Hatcher)
Finally Home (Deb Raney in Missouri Memories anthology)
Mississippi Mud (DiAnn Mills in Sugar And Grits Anthology)
Moonlight & Mistletoe (Carrie Turansky in Big Apple Christmas anthology)
Remaking of Moe McKenna (Gloria Clover in the Race to the Altar anthology)
Sweet Dreams Drive (Robin Lee Hatcher)
The winner will be announced at the ACFW conference in Minneapolis in September. Sniff. Sniff. I don’t get to go.
Deb Raney and DiAnn Mills were both up, along with the winner, Tamera Alexander, in the Romance category of the Christy Awards. I’m delighted to be in their company. I don’t know the other two writers, but I’ll send along my congratulations to all the finalists, both in this category and in all of the other categories as well.
